On 16 and 17 January 2023, a delegation from the Grupo Puerto de Cartagena, Colombia, carried out a technical visit to the facilities of STC B.V.
During their visit, they learned about the functioning of several simulators and spaces designed to train personnel in charge of port operations. Also, a technical visit to the Port of Rotterdam and the APMT training center took place.
STC International has been working in partnership with Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Cartagena and their container terminal Contecar (both part of the Grupo Puerto de Cartagena) for many years, supporting them in the development and implementation of their training center as well as in updating the knowledge of their workers regarding the main processes that are carried out during port operations.
With the visit to our facilities, we seek to strengthen our working relationship and find more areas in which we can continue to actively contribute to the training and education of staff of their port terminals in Cartagena.
