Simulation makes it real
One of our strong beliefs is that training in a simulator environment is highly beneficial. Avoiding production loss and capital risks related to people and investments while saving time, provides valuable advantages. Under this condition, safety of trained staff is guaranteed. The ability to modify environmental conditions and circumstances results in highly qualified training programmes. Furthermore, it creates the possibility to conduct applied research. The simulator park at our premises in Rotterdam is the largest in the maritime and logistics industry. Our park consists of ship’s bridge simulators, tug boat simulators, engine room simulators, inland barge simulators, crane simulators, dredging, supply chain and rail simulators. We “exported” our simulator experience to our branch offices in South Africa, Vietnam and Oman.
Next to an extensive simulator park, STC International offers a range of practical training facilities including training vessels, an engine room, a high voltage laboratory and a fire & safety training centre.
The software of our simulator park is created in-house where we have full control over the setup of the simulator programmes, aligned with equipment used in the industry, to have a “one on one” experience. The didactical programmes that we use together with our simulator park enables trainees to step into their job with self confidence that provides a safe and efficient work process.
We have the privilege to support our clients with the setup, development and operation of simulator centres and practical facilities on various locations around the globe.
